Paging with parameters?

Mar 27, 2010 at 4:02 PM

I'm trying to get the paging with jQuery working.

Can I use it if I need to have other parameters?

For example, in regards to your sample project, what if we wanted to page through the orders where EmployeeID=4?

It seems I have it working using the 6th overload and specifying the routeValues.

Yes, you can use that routeValues parameter to pass parameters to the generated paging url, I'll write more demos on the coming 1.3 version. Thank you for using it!

The parameters from routeValues parameter are replaced by parameters from query string. Is it correct?

In my view this is not the right solution. If you are agree with me try this patch:

File: PagerBuilder.cs, line 202:

             foreach(string key in rq.Keys)
-                if (key != _pagerOptions.PageIndexParameterName)
+                if (!routeValues.ContainsKey(key))
                     routeValues[key] = rq[key];

Thank you, Michal
